NOMITE
The brand NOMITE® reports that products are suitable for people who suffer from allergy to domestic dust, as the thermal and climatic properties of bedding articles with down and feather filling (rapid development of heat during sleep, rapid release of humidity during the ventilation phase) that are favorable to human being, create a very unfavorable habitat for dust mites which are dependent on humidity instead.
The dense fabric downproof construction, also offers extra protection against mites, which are not able to penetrate it. Therefore even for those who suffer from asthma or allergies to domestic dust there is no reason to give up the natural comfort that offer pillows and quilts with down and feather padding.
OEKO TEX
All products are equipped with the OEKO TEX Confidence in Textile (Standard 100) certification, the most important ecological brand for textiles, which attests the absence of carcinogenic, allergenic, irritating and, more generally, harmful substances to human being’s health.
The OEKO TEX label only recognizes fabrics whose origins are certified and verified.
SAN PRO CARE
The fabrics used are subjected to SanProCare Sensitive treatment, a finishing made on the most exclusive fabrics, which increases the breathability and temperature control of the duvet, which are a key factors in making the performance of the filled product more efficient and extending its life.
RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD
The Responsible Down Standard is an independent, voluntary global standard, which aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to an unnecessary harm, enabling them to live healthy lives, express innate behaviors, and not suffer from pain, fear or distress.
This standard prohibits the use of material that comes from animals that have been subjected to live plucking and force-feeding. As a voluntary standard, companies can choose to certify their products to the RDS, even if there is no legislation requiring them to do so.
B SILVER AG+
B silver Ag+ is a process that allows the use of the antibacterial properties of silver in the manufacture of fabrics: an infinitesimal quantity of silver is dispersed in a perfectly uniform manner within the molecular chains that make up the textile fibers, acting and interrupting the cycle of definitive feeding and reproduction of dust mites.
EDFA
Minardi Industries company is a member of EDFA (European Down and Feather Association). The Association of the feather and bedding industry founded in 1980 headquarted Germany now includes more than 90 companies and associations from 23 countries. The members belonging to EDFA are committed to apply a registered traceability system and respecting a code of conduct that prohibits the purchasing and processing of down and feathers obtained either against the law or from abused animals. From the introduction of this system, the suppliers must certify the materials only come from food industry where plucking occurs after slaughter or obtained during the biological phenomenon of the moult (ecdisi).
IDFL
Once the processing cycle has been completed, the plumages are periodically analyzed by IDFL Institute (International Down and Feather Laboratory & Institute), an international independent organization headquartered in Salt Lake City (USA) that determines full compliance of the product.
SANITIZED
Sanitized is a special anti-fungal and antibacterial treatment used to make a fabric or material hypoallergenic and hygienic. Thanks to its special features, this treatment ensures an effective action against mites and bacteria. In addition to being a powerful anti-mite agent, Sanitized acts as an anti-odorant, it actively contrasts the development of sweat odor and keeps fabric fresher and longer.
FIBRALUX
Fibralux is a special high quality hypoallergenic fiber used for the padding of pillows and duvets, not regenerated and made up with fresh carded clusters and spread in soft overlapping veils wrapped and inserted inside the fabric cover, thus obtaining a non-deformable, hygienic, washable and breathable padding.
